- 2 Bedroom apartment on second floor, approximately 850 sq. ft, 9ft ceiling height. Apartment works best for 4 or fewer guests, but can accommodate up to 7 with queen size air mattress and long sectional couch. In the 2 bedrooms - one has queen bed, other has a full/double bed. - Dining table as-is seats up to 4 comfortably. With additional table leaf and 2 extra chairs, seats 7 or more. - Entire apartment completely renovated in 2018, featuring quartz counter tops and new stainless steel appliances. - For your comfort and protection bed mattresses and all pillows have hypoallergenic covers to prevent dust-mites and bed bugs. - Pillows are top rated Snuggle-Pedic Ultra-Luxury Bamboo Shredded Memory Foam Pillow. - Beds mattresses are Tuft & Needle Adaptive Foam, providing the comfort of memory foam but cooler and more supportive. - Keurig coffee maker with variety of coffee and teas provided. - Key-less numeric keypad access for your convenience and security. - Coin laundry in shared laundry room. Bridgeport is a diverse neighborhood, with close proximity to downtown. Adjacent to vibrant cultural neighborhood of Chinatown. Home to the Chicago White Sox baseball stadium and two 20-acre parks, which are adjacent to the property. Within 2 block walk is: Cermak Fresh Market grocery, convenience stores Walgreens and CVS, and several restaurants.
Transit
- Street Parking - street parking in the area is free. Usually an open street parking spot can be found right in front of the property. - Garage Parking - available for $250 per month. Garage located in rear of property, accessed through the alley - Public transit - CTA Orange Line train stop three blocks away. 8 min ride to downtown. Bus stop just one block away on Halsted St. - Arriving From Midway - Easy public transit from Midway airport. 15 min Orange line train ride from Midway will drop you off just a half mile from the property. Walk or take Halsted bus from there. Seven miles driving distance from Midway. Arriving From OHare - take Blue line train to downtown / Forest Park (41 min ride) and transfer at Clark/Lake stop to the Orange Line. 12 min Orange Line ride to Halsted stop. - Downtown - Just 3 miles drive. By public transportation: just a half mile walk to Orange Line train stop and an 8 min ride to downtown. - McCormick Place - less than 2 miles away (3 miles by driving distance) Convenient by Uber or taxi, public transit is possible, but not as direct or convenient as going downtown.

Luggage can be stored before or after your stay in the common area laundry/mechanical room. Although the location is in a locked space, other building residents have access to this common area, so we cannot be responsible for it, it is at your own risk. Internet: Planning to work from home? We've got you covered! Our subscription to Comcast Business provides lightning-fast internet service at 200Mbps, and we also have a backup internet in case of any connectivity issues.
House Rules
- Noise: Guests must be quiet and considerate at all times. Quiet time after 9pm. No music, TV at low volume. - No unregistered visitors unless otherwise arranged with host in advance. - Absolutely no parties, pre-parties, or get togethers. - We live in unit below and will not tolerate excessive noise or unregistered visitors - Shoes - We kindly request guests to not wear shoes when in apartment as any loud clomping comes through to us downstairs easily. - Late check-out fee of $50 per every half hour after 11am. This impacts our cleaning crew and their schedule.

I really can recommend this place for a long stay. Especially when you are interested in exploring Chicago outside the downtown area. It is very close to the orange line and parking is easy as well

Every detail and amenity we might need was available. We cooked and appreciated the cookware there. The well stocked coffee and tea was great. Laundry was convenient and clean. We loved the neighborhood.

Nuestra estadía fue muy acogedora. Jason, es muy respetuoso y dispuesto. La propiedad está muy bien acondicionada. Su ubicación es perfecta para alguien con niños. Al frente hay un parque inmenso para correr, y jugar. La propiedad queda en un vecindario muy tranquilo, y rodeado de tiendas, droguerías, comidas y mas! En mi larga estadía todos los días viajaba al centro de Chicago, el trasporte público está súper disponible. En general le daría un 10!
